Fox Sports Indiana (stylized as FS INDIANA) is a regional cable sports network that operates in Central Indiana. Fox Sports Indiana was created in 2006 by Fox Sports Net as a spin-off to Fox Sports Midwest due to gaining the television contract for the NBA's Indiana Pacers full time. It also carries the Pacers' sister team the WNBA's Indiana Fever as well some games of MLB's Cincinnati Reds (via Fox Sports Ohio). [1] and St. Louis Cardinals (via Fox Sports Midwest). [2]

Availability

The channel is available on cable in Indiana, and nationwide on DirecTV. Due to limited bandwidth, DirecTV still treats Fox Sports Indiana as a subfeed and only turns it on for Pacers, Fever and Reds games. Dish Network removed the channel, as well as FS Midwest and FS Kansas City, on October 16, 2009 due to a carriage dispute.[3] The service was restored on October 29, 2010.

Fox Sports Indiana HD

Fox Sports Indiana produces some Pacers games in 720p high definition. Cincinnati Reds games (via Fox Sports Ohio) are also aired in HD on it. National FSN games and events also air in HD.
